As school draws to a close, parents are still exploring options for French opportunities this summer. We have a fun and exciting summer ahead!
Our camp staff from Universite Sainte-Anne is already on the road with our first two overnight camps organized by chapters in Cape Breton. Students from CPF Port Hawkesbury are enjoying a week at the Gaelic College and CPF Sydney students will be at Albert Bridge to enjoy a week at Camp MacLeod.
Katelyn, our Daycamp Director for Camp Chocolat and Camp du Soleil is busy preparing a fun month with the kids. Day camp runs weekly from July 4-July 28. Choose one session or all four!
We have closed the registration for the FrancoForum camp on the island of St. Pierre. Campers leave on July 3 for their trip to our closest French neighbour. We are still taking registrations for Sea Kayak Adventure camp and Nautical Camp running from July 9-July 15. Chaperones meet campers at the Magdaleine Island ferry terminal in Souris, PEI. Once on the island, campers enjoy the natural beauty of the island while participating in activities such as snorkling, sailing, windsurfing, boogie boarding, sea kayaking, paddle boarding, archery, campfires, etc.
Looking for French camps in August? Try our Camp Artistique located outside of Digby. It is a smaller camp that runs Monday to Friday. It is the perfect experience for a first time camper. Camp de la Baie runs the last two weeks of August. This camp makes a great refresher just before school or for students starting late immersion. Located in Ketch Harbour at the modern facilities at Bayside Camp, this camp is not to be missed. With a great waterfront and sports fields, campers have a great time while supervised by the staff from Universite Sainte-Anne.
Our week-long overnight camps cover a range of French levels and activities. All camps provide a great opportunity for kids to learn and reinforce language skills over the summer.
