Looking to learn French this Winter? If you are a beginner, or if you have some general knowledge of French, CPF-NS has a fun-filled course this winter. During our 8-week course adult students will have an opportunity to learn, or brush up on, the most essential aspects of the French language.
Each week will touch on important topics that will stimulate your ability to use French on a daily basis. This course is therefore ideal for any parents/guardians of French immersion students, or simply people looking to take their French to the next level.
These classes are designed to be small, so spaces are limited. Register today to avoid disappointment.
The following two classes will be offered in the Halifax area starting in FEBRUARY.

Student suitability: These courses have no formal pre-requisite. Some prior background can be beneficial, but not a full requirement. Beginner and intermediate students are welcome in both courses. Students who are more advanced may wish to contact the instructor prior to registering to discuss their suitability. For any enquiries please contact the branch office.
Tuesday, Feb. 4 – LeBrun Centre in Bedford – 730pm-9pm
The intermediary level course is designed for parents who may speak little to no French, but would like to enhance their abilities as a speaker in the language. In this class, more emphasis will be spent on doing oral activities, which may include: listening to French dialogues, reading current events in French, vocabulary enrichment, oral style, role play and acting out situations.
For students looking for a more academic, grammatical approach to learning French, they may wish to consider the Thursday evening session.
Thursday, Feb 6 – Citadel Community Centre in Peninsular Halifax – 730pm-9pm
