The provincial Concours d’art oratoire scheduled for April 25 at Mount Saint Vincent University has been cancelled as a precaution to help limit the spread of COVID-19. At this time, the NS Education and Early Childhood Development has suspended all extra-curricular activities in the public school system until the end of April. Our partner, Mount Saint Vincent University also supports the cancellation.
In an effort to help contain the COVID-19 coronavirus, CPF Nova Scotia is following provincial and federal government recommendations regarding large gatherings and social distancing.
CPF Nova Scotia will continue to accept registrations for our French summer camp programming at this time. Registrations for the camps will be limited in order to comply with social distancing recommendations until such time as these recommendations are no longer needed.
Throughout this situation, the safety and well-being of our community members and employees continues to be our number one priority. CPF Nova Scotia will monitor recommendations from the Government of Nova Scotia and Canadian Public Health Agency of Canada to determine if any further cancellations or modifications to our programming are required.
Due to the rapidly changing status of the COVID-19 coronavirus, changes to our programs and summer camps may be updated. For the latest public health information, please visit these resources:
