Canadian Parents for French, Nova Scotia invites you to join us for our Annual General Meeting on September 19, 2020. Even though it is not possible to gather in person, we are offering the opportunity to learn more about our activities such as the Concours Virtuel which took place as an alternative to our Concours d’art, our virtual Summer Camp program and the launch of our Teaching French as a Career Path project, plus complete our Annual General Meeting!

Only Canadian Parents for French, Nova Scotia members in good standing are eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting. The Annual General Meeting is open to the general public.

Canadian Parents for French, Nova Scotia will be making a change to their Bylaws at this time to align with our National bylaws.

128.2b Branch Directors shall be elected for a term of two (2) years from the end of the AGM at which the Board Director is elected until the end of the AGM two years later and for continuity purposes terms will be staggered.  A person maybe elected to the Branch Board for a maximum of six (6) years in total.

Change proposed: A person may be elected to the Branch Board for a maximum of eight (8) years in total.
