CPF Halifax Peninsula & Mainland South celebrated “Reading Week”/”Semaine de Lire” by visiting a pair of schools on Thursday, January 31st, 2019.
Our chapter first visited École JW McLeod School and met with their principal, Emily Quigley. We dropped off 50 pamphlets for parents and donated four French books from our chapter to her school for her early immersion French teachers.
Ms. Quigley was very grateful to receive this donation on behalf of her French teachers.
CPF Halifax Peninsula & Mainland South then visited École LeMarchant St. Thomas to continue the “Reading Week”/”Semaine de Lire” celebrations. Our chapter gladly donated four books to them as well to celebrate French reading at their school.
