Canadian Parents for French, Nova Scotia and Université Sainte-Anne are collaborating with Metro Care and Share Society to offer a deserving Nova Scotian student a full scholarship to Université Sainte-Anne.
Université Sainte-Anne, the only French language post-secondary institution in Nova Scotia, offers university and college-level courses as well as a French immersion program and customized training in French as a second language. Recognized for its excellent programs as well as its unique and exceptional living environment, Sainte-Anne offers experiential learning opportunities that promote student engagement and success, and an atmosphere which encourages a culture of excellence in research and development.
Metro Care and Share Society aids young people’s desire to further their educational opportunities and to make a positive impact on their future. The intent is to help level the playing-field for tomorrow’s leaders, regardless of the challenges associated with individuals who come from a financially-challenged background.
The Halifax Scholars Program is comprised of a suite of services and activities. Students accepted into the Halifax Scholars Program will be provided with interactive services designed to promote engaged learning, academic/vocational success and promote their vision to become successful leaders in their communities.
The Université Sainte-Anne scholarship is open to students across Nova Scotia with financial needs who are intending to attend Université Sainte-Anne (one scholarship per year available). Deadline to apply is June 19, 2017.
