Canadian Parents for French Nova Scotia, Canadian Parents for French Prince Edward Island and Canadian Parents for French Newfoundland & Labrador are proud to announce the Reportage Jeunesse/Junior Reporter program.
The Reportage Jeunesse/Junior Reporter program, an impactful project which highlights the importance of French Expression among youth and Franco Youth targeting ages 12 to 18 in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland & Labrador. This program allows participants to cover local community events in the capacity of a reporter. Each participant will become familiar with the journalism field after attending several workshops led by experts in their field, the program will start on January 13th, 2025.
Canadian Parents for French Nova Scotia, Canadian Parents for French Prince Edward Island and Canadian Parents for French Newfoundland & Labrador proudly recognizes the assistance and backing of two young journalists: From PEI, Laurent Rigaux; from Newfoundland & Labrador, Patrick Butler, with the CBC/Radio Canada. They will provide two journalism workshops for our curriculum. Canadian Parents for French Nova Scotia, Canadian Parents for French Prince Edward Island and Canadian Parents for French Newfoundland & Labrador are also pleased to announce the inclusion of Mariam Breault. Breault is a final-year student from the University of Moncton studying Communication. She will be conducting two communication workshops.
Registered participants will receive special equipment such as phone microphones, lights, selfie sticks and a DJI phone stabilizer.
