CAMP STAFF JOB DESCRIPTIONS 2021

Senior Counsellors: 

  • animate, supervise, and participate in activities (including meals) with campers throughout the day
  • speak only in French during camp
  • ensure the well-being and safety of campers in their care 24 hours a day
  • sleep in cabins with campers where applicable
  • report to the Camp Director
  • The minimum age of any senior camp staff will be 18
  • $100 bonus extra per week for certified lifeguards.

 

Junior Counsellors: 

  • animate, supervise, and participate in activities (including meals) with campers throughout the day
  • speak only in French during camp
  • ensure the well-being and safety of campers in their care at all times
  • report to the Senior Counsellor in the same cabin
  • sleep in cabins with campers and a Senior Counsellor where applicable
  • The minimum age of any junior camp staff must be 16.
  • Salary is $325 honorarium per week for first time junior counsellors, $350 for returning junior counselors. $100 bonus extra per week for certified lifeguards.

 

 

Professors:

  • animate, supervise, and participate in classes and other activities with campers throughout the day
  • speak only in French during camp
  • ensure the well-being and safety of campers in his or her care
  • report to the Camp Director
  • $100 bonus extra per week for certified lifeguards.
